In the last years, I have invested as an angel investor in several startups powered by incredible founders. I am a LP founder in the first Portuguese Founders Fund. I am a founder member of the first Classic Liberal Party In Portugal. In the previous 20 years, I have worked 10 years in FMCG companies (P&G and L’Oréal) assuming numerous regional and global commercial roles with increasing responsibility and leadership; worked for 5 years for family businesses able to deliver outstanding global P&L results; I lived in Shanghai for 4 years leading the Marketing, Communications and Portfolio Strategy for a startup company, one of the leading drinks companies in China, now a Fortune 500 company, where I played a key role in its exit. I was born, raised and educated in Porto, Portugal, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology with a major in Microbiology, a Post-graduation in Bioethics and executive programs in Marketing, Finance and Leadership. I have also completed the UK Wines and Spirits Education Trust’s (WSET) advanced course in wines and spirits, passing the Level-3 Advanced Certificate Examination with Merit.
